June 23, 2020 Dear All, It has been a strange three months, but we are moving into Multnomah County's Phase One reopening.  Our new hours will be M-W 3:00 – 9:00  and Th – Su 2:00-9:00. Read all about the new way of things at Gigantic. We have a lot of stuff to keep in mind and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we figure it all out. Highlights: We are asking everyone to wear a mask and keep physical distance of 6' from others when not seated at a table.  Our staff is exposed to hundreds of people and we want to keep them as safe as possible in what frankly, is a pretty high risk job.  We will be seating people at specific tables and people who are drinking need to stay at their table.  On the plus side, we've expanded the patio to the south of the roll up door in the barrel room, so there will be roughly the same amount of outdoor seating as before- just in two different spots. (Unfortunately we aren't allowed to have dogs on the south patio because the only access is through the building, and the Oregon Dept. of Agriculture frowns on animals in the building.)   We will still have next day beer delivery to your home or office within the majority of Portland. Order by midnight and we'll have it to you the next day. In case you are curious about when our new taproom at NE 70th and Glisan will open, we are hoping to be open for bottle sales by early July.  We will have draft eventually, but in the interest of trying to figure out one completely new thing at a time, we are going to get comfortable with phase one at the original taproom first.   More about Ben More about Van
